Cairn Housing Association is celebrating being named one of the best not-for-profit organisations in the UK to work for, after making the prestigious Sunday Times top 100 employers list.

The award comes after several years of continuous and sustained performance improvements and organisational development across the Association.

This year Cairn has identified staff engagement as their ‘wildly important goal’ which will ensure that providing a working environment that enables and motivates colleagues to do a great job continues to be an organisational priority.

Jason MacGilp, Cairn’s chief executive, said the whole team is “delighted” with the award.

He added: “Cairn’s vision is ‘Great homes, Great services and Great people’. We are a people business and engaging positively with our staff is a crucial part of our success as a social business. It is this that drives our performance and excellent services to tenants in communities across Scotland.”
