Cairn puts communities at the heart of 25th anniversary celebrations

Cairn 25Cairn has launched a year of community events to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Tenants of the Association and community groups across Scotland are invited to apply to Cairn’s Community Fund to develop their own projects, bright ideas and events.

After launching the initiative at Cairn’s annual general meeting with a short film showcasing a Community Fund supported art project in Fife, Jason MacGilp, chief executive, said: “Cairn is a forward looking organisation and we have made huge improvements to modernise our services. We can be proud of our 25 year history, and the great work of our staff, tenants and Board members to get us where we are today. As we look to the future what better way to celebrate 25 years of Cairn than to support tenants and groups in our communities to develop their own ideas that can bring people together?

“It’s exciting that through our work in communities we can have a big impact across the country. We can’t wait to see what people come up with.”

Applications to the Cairn Community Fund are invited from Cairn tenants and community groups.
