Christmas comes early to Cloch and Craigdale

Santa comes to MauchlinhillSanta came to town early as part of Cloch Housing Association’s FACE project to examine and improve customer service and he still had time to visit Craigdale Housing Association.

Staff at Cloch held a Christmas Fair in the Auchmountain Halls in Maukinhill with fun and games and a chance to survey service users about Cloch’s customer service.  It was a great success with over 100 customers attending during the afternoon.

The free event had loads of attractions included the children of Blairmore nursery singing Christmas songs and local arts company Rig Arts keeping the kids in festive spirit with face painting and Christmas crafts.

A range of information stalls including Inverclyde Carers Centre, Inverclyde Advice First and Future Skills were there and a few Christmas arts and crafts stalls allowed for some last minute Christmas Shopping. The raffle was very popular with a number of customers going home with an early Christmas treat.

The event also provided tea, coffee and mince pies for everyone and was the first of a series of events Cloch are arranging for tenants, factored owners and Care & Repair customers.

Andy Thomson, housing services manager at Cloch, said “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day such a fabulous one and to all the customers who took the time to fill in the survey.  It will go a long way to helping us through the next stages of our customer services review.”

Meanwhile, all the good girls and boys of Craigdale Housing Association and Arnwood Nursery who had been especially nice this year met Santa at his special Grotto in the Association’s office.

All the boys and girls received a treat and present from Santa.
