Communities not commodities – SHARE’s 2019 annual conference

SHARE’s annual conference is only weeks away and the programme is looking great.

In addition to all those work-related workshops, delegates can also relax and have a bit of fun while taking part in team building exercises and networking with colleagues. How about archery, gin tasting and a brewery tour as well as the usual Sunday morning relaxation therapies?

The conference keynote on Saturday morning will be delivered by Andrew Watson, Board member, Scottish Housing Regulator and David Bookbinder, Director, Glasgow and West of Scotland Forum of Housing Associations. Andrew will provide an update on the Regulatory Framework which is due for publication at the end of February and David looks at what factors can best help avoid intervention in the first place, and at ways of dealing with intervention if it happens.

It is always good to get time away and to hear from colleagues across the sector, discuss issues your own association/co-operative might be having, review developments in the sector and share some good practice.

Coach transfer is available from Glasgow and there’s no need to find childcare. Our Kids Club, for children between 3-12 years of age, has a full weekend programme of activities. We’ve thought of everything!

Exhibitors include: TPAS, EVH, Sustrans, Total Homes Co-operative and Decision Time. If you are interested in exhibiting please get in touch.

It really is the event of the year so make sure you’ve booked your place/s.

You can download the booking form HERE or contact annualconference@share.org.uk for more information.
