The Investors in People standard explores practices and outcomes within an organisation under three performance headings: leading, supporting and improving.

The winners will be revealed at a ceremony over Zoom on November 24.

Joe Gracey, chairperson of Easthall Park Housing Co-operative, said: “We are proud that we have been shortlisted for this prestigious award. We are in a group with only 10 other organisations to be shortlisted. It is a great testimony that our organisation is viewed as an organisation that leads and inspires our people, have people that live our values and have a culture of trust.

“In 2019, we were delighted to have retained our Investors in People Platinum Award; first achieved back in 2016. So now to be recognised like this is an achievement we are very proud of.”

John McMorrow, director, added: “To be shortlisted in this category is excellent news for the Co-operative and is recognition of how the Co-operative leads and inspires people, demonstrates that we live the organisations values and behaviours whilst empowering and involving people.

“We are a people focussed organisation. We passionately believe excellent performance and the ability to achieve our purpose of ‘Making a difference to our Community’ is predicated on staff growth and development. I am very proud and pleased that all our efforts are being recognised in this way.”
