Eydent hosts ‘Putting People First: Health and Home’ conference



Eydent, the alliance between Ayrshire housing associations ANCHO, Atrium Homes, Ayrshire Housing and Shire Housing Association, successfully hosted its 4th conference on October 24.

More than 140 delegates attended the entitled ‘Putting People First: Health and Home’ conference at the Seamill Hydro Hotel.

High-quality keynote speakers at the conference included public health medicine specialist Dr Neil Hamlet; author, musician and social commentator Darren McGarvey and Josh Littlejohn MBE, the founder of Social Bite.

The conference also included high-quality workshops ranging from financial inclusion to fuel poverty and health.

Jim Munro, the director of Shire Housing Association, said: “At the heart of Eydent is joint working, sharing information, best practice, helping to improve knowledge and skills. Eydent’s 4th Conference with its high-quality key-note speakers and workshops is a great example of collaborative working.
