The award comes just a week after winning the same accolade at the Scottish Social Enterprise Awards.

The Glasgow-based organisation is a brand-new concept in letting and the first of its kind in Scotland. It operates as a social business, offering landlords a top-class property service, while reinvesting all profits into helping vulnerable tenants make happy, secure homes in their rented properties.

Founded in March 2013 Homes for Good currently manages around 280 properties across the West of Scotland and the Central Belt.

Director of Homes for Good, Susan Aktemel, said: “This has been a surreal couple of weeks and I think we’re still in shock about winning both awards. Again, I would like to thank my team for their hard work and dedication, our board and our investors without which none of this would be possible. This is a great way to round off the year for us as an organisation.

“We’ve got an ambitious growth plan over the next few years and want to expand our portfolio and services across Glasgow city. We look forward to working with more landlords to provide high quality properties to our customers.”

Held at the EICC in Edinburgh, with Leonardo DiCaprio as the keynote speaker, The Scottish Business Awards is the calendar event for the Scottish business community.

This year, there were a total 15 awards presented. The Social Enterprise of the Year award was sponsored by Asda Community.
