Home Group named one of UK’s best workplaces for women

Home Group in Scotland has been placed 4th in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women Awards 2021.

Ranked alongside global companies such as Hilton and Santander, Home Group’s position also makes them the top-performing housing association in the UK and highest performing organisation in Scotland.

Mark Henderson, chief executive of Home Group, said: “This is a great testament to the work that so many of our amazing colleagues have done on creating and sustaining discussions about improving the workplace for women here at Home Group.

“From initiatives to bring more women into senior leadership roles, to conversations around safety, menopause, and a ‘lean-in’ network to support each other through lockdown, our efforts have seen Home Group move up from being ranked sixth in 2020.

“There’s still work to be done, and we want to keep learning and improving our wonderful organisation, but even so it’s fantastic to see our efforts recognised as one of the best workplaces for women.”

As well as finishing top in their sector, Home Group were also named the highest placed charitable organisation in this year’s awards. This latest success follows on from being ranked among the top 10 places to work in the UK for the third year running in the Great Places to Work survey.
