HouseMark Scotland launches updated Scottish Social Housing Charter Comparison tool

HouseMark Scotland has launched an updated version of the Scottish Social Housing Charter interactive comparison tool, using the annual return data published by the Scottish Housing Regulator.

Available across the sector, the tool allows users to view social landlords’ performance over five years, in order to explore trends and gain valuable insight.

The tool is fully interactive and provides the option to filter the results by year, landlord name or type, local authority area, stock size and average rent. It also provides the opportunity to benchmark performance against an unlimited number of peers.

Russell Young, data analysis and insight manager for HouseMark Scotland, said: “Following positive feedback from tenant groups and landlords in previous years, we have produced an updated interactive comparison tool drawing on five years of ARC data. Complementary to the SHR’s own comparison tool, this tool allows users to explore trends and compare landlord performance and satisfaction across a range of core topics.

“At HouseMark, we are committed to supporting our members to make data-driven decisions to help them become even better businesses, particularly through linking spend analysis with performance and satisfaction measures to help identify potential areas for improvement and efficiency. We are delighted to offer this tool free to the sector as a contribution to supporting landlords’ drive to deliver outstanding services to tenants.”

The online tool can be accessed now via the HouseMark Scotland website.
