Lintel Trust set for 25th charity tee off

Lintel Trust’s annual charity golf tournament, which is celebrating its 25th year, will return to Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club on Friday 14 June 2019.

The popular fundraising event, sponsored by Cruden and Sidey, will see golfers from across the housing sector take to the club’s 18-hole West Course.

Kate Christie, senior business development officer at Lintel Trust, said: “11 teams took part in last year’s event, raising £5,518.

“We used these funds to provide support to voluntary organisations and local communities throughout Scotland, and we hope to generate even more interest in our event this year!

“Teams can expect to receive some special golf merchandise and other goodies in celebration of our tournament’s silver anniversary.”

The day will start at 8.30am with bacon rolls and hot drinks, before a 10am Texas Scramble tee off following stableford rules. Golfers will then be treated to a two-course hot buffet lunch, followed by the prize giving and a charity raffle.

Prizes include:

  • The Lintel Cup (sponsored by Cruden)
  • The Lintel Individual Prize (sponsored by Sidey)
  • The Lintel Ladies Prize
  • Nearest the pin in one shot 
  • Nearest the pin in two shots 

It costs £320 for a team of three players (reductions available for multiple teams and event sponsors) and £85 for individuals.
