McTaggart hands over 27 new homes to Atrium
Atrium Homes has accepted the keys to 27 new homes in Shortlees, Kilmarnock.
The development, built by McTaggart Construction, is a mix of amenity bungalows and cottage flats plus semi-detached houses and seeks to meet the local demand for smaller households.
Director of operations for Atrium Homes, Joyce McCroskie, was not only delighted with the final development but the assistance of McTaggart during the allocations phase.
She said: “During difficult times, McTaggart provided us with videos of the property interiors that allowed us to carry out our allocations procedures virtually, allowing applicants a virtual tour of their new home prior to signing up which was also done remotely. This kept everyone safe but allowed our usual services still to be delivered.”
Atrium Homes has worked closely with McTaggart Construction over multiple phases in Shortlees, to create developments which will provide local people access to much-needed affordable and highly efficient new homes.
Janice Russell, director of McTaggart Construction, said: “Having delivered a number of projects for Atrium Homes, we are delighted with the positive impact these new sustainable homes will have on the Shortlees community.”
