More new homes have been delivered as part of Fife Council’s Affordable Housing Programme as tenants moved in at developments across the region.

Seventeen affordable homes are now complete at Oakley Road, Saline. They form part of a private development of over 50 units and are a mixture of one and two-bedroom flats and two and three bedroom houses.

New tenant Elaine Miller moved into a new two-bedroom house with her daughter in March 2017. She had recently downsized from a three-bedroom property in Kingseat.

She said: “We’re delighted with our new home. I am so happy to have a garden and I’m also really pleased about the large kitchen/diner and having a downstairs bathroom. We have really benefitted from Fife Council’s affordable housing programme.”
