Trust Housing Association held its second combined Tenants’ Conference and AGM on last week at the Macdonald Inchyra in Polmont with guest speaker TV weatherman Sean Batty.

A range of tenants from across Scotland attended the ‘all the colours of the rainbow’ themed event.

The day began with the AGM followed by a choice of informative and fun workshops and then the newly introduced ‘celebrating success’ awards. Scotland’s top crooner Tommy Twigg provided the afternoon entertainment.

The event gets tenants together to update them on Trust’s key achievements over the past year and provides an opportunity to meet other tenants and Trust staff.

Feedback from the day showed the success and enjoyment of the event, particularly popular was Sean Batty and the stalls that Trust staff manned on the day – each one representing a strategy from a different business department.

Rhona McLeod, CEO at Trust, said: “This annual event provides an excellent opportunity for Trust employees to communicate with our customer group. We had a good balance of information sharing and light heartedness to create lots of fun and laughter. It’s always a joy to spend the day speaking to our tenants and sharing our successes. A huge thank you for the hard work put in by Trust staff, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue and Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.”
