Tenants satisfied with North Lanarkshire housing service

tenant_conf_survey_picNorth Lanarkshire Council has announced the results of its recent tenant housing service survey.

With almost 4,000 responses received, 84 per cent of participants said they were ‘very’ or ‘fairly satisfied’ with their housing service.

Tenants were asked to comment on maintenance and repairs, the quality of their homes, how the council responds to antisocial behaviour and how well the authority keeps them informed.

Out of the respondents, 82 per cent said they were ‘very’ or ‘fairly satisfied’ with the repairs service provided, while eight out of ten said the same with the quality of their home.

A further 79 per cent of tenants said they were satisfied with the council’s neighbourhood management.

Councillor Sam Love said: “By completing our survey, tenants are providing us with valuable feedback which help us shape future housing services and meet the wide ranging needs of our tenants.

“It’s encouraging to see positive responses and to find out first-hand what our tenant priorities are. However, we’re not complacent and we strive to improve services year on year.”
