Thistle Housing Association (THA) strengthened its partnerships once again to deliver Glasgow’s Holiday Food Program to Toryglen families during the October school break.

In partnership with Glasgow City Council, VAF and Jeely Piece, THA are already operating a waiting list on the second day for registrations.

Grace McColgan, THA director, said: “On the back of the resounding success of our Summer Holiday Food Program, we were under no illusions that demand would again be overwhelming. On the second day of registrations we are at full capacity.

“We are thankful to have been selected to receive the funding from GCC and are delighted we can deliver this project for a second time. However the level of demand only highlights the need for our families in Toryglen on so many more levels. Moving forward, THA will aim to support our community in all areas of need and aspiration.”
