Ron Bowes, Julia Cheung-Buchanan and Catherine Wood all bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their new roles.

Ron Bowes has been a Home Group customer in Rosyth for over 20 years and has been involved in customer involvement for the past couple of years. With a background in building and structural engineering, Ron has always enjoyed participating in and contributing to the customer promise assessments, customer forums, workshops, conferences, communications and contractor meetings across Scotland and England.

This year Ron decided to take his involvement ever further and apply to join Home Group’s board in Scotland and was delighted to be accepted.

Julia Cheung-Buchanan has vast experience in the development and construction industry where she’s worked for over 20 years. She is currently development manager for Frasers Property, a multi-national real estate and property management company. Previous she was senior development manager for McTaggart Construction, a main contractor whose core business is building affordable housing for a wide range of clients.

Catherine Wood has over 25 years’ experience in central and local government as well as the private sector in Scotland and England. She is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and previously led the Scottish strategic land and planning team at Gladman Developments Ltd, promoting and delivering land for housing to the development industry and affordable housing providers. She is now establishing a new property venture working throughout Scotland and the north of England.

Sandra Brydon, director for Home Group Scotland, said: “Ron, Catherine and Julia bring a broad range of expertise between them, from architecture, construction and planning to actually being a customer with us and knowing the communities well. I know that between them, they will help deliver our promise of building homes, aspirations and independence in Scotland and will help us make the best decisions for our customers. Everyone at Home Group in Scotland is excited to welcome them.”
