TIS development director celebrates 20 years’ service



The Tenants Information Service (TIS) is celebrating a significant milestone this January for development director Sharon Donohoe as she marks 20 years of service.

Over the last two decades, Sharon has seen TIS evolve to become leaders in the provision of housing, community development, and engagement practice.

An integral member of the team, Sharon’s commitment has played a fundamental role in shaping the organisation into what it represents today.

TIS is a national membership organisation, with over 200 tenants, community and housing organisation Members. It is committed to influencing change and strives for an active, inclusive, and just Scotland, with strong, equitable, and sustainable communities.

With Sharon’s support, TIS has ensured continued success, developed effective solutions and services, and pioneered innovative tenant participation, community engagement, and scrutiny practice throughout Scotland.

Sharon said: “TIS has been a fantastic organisation to be a part of. We work hard to deliver independent advice, training, and support to tenants, communities and housing organisations to work together more effectively. I am very fortunate to have worked with some excellent and dedicated staff, board members, and tenant representatives.”
