Trust Housing Association has raised £735 for Positive Action in Housing’s (PAIH) Refugee Crisis Appeal.

The funds were raised through various activities including coffee mornings organised by tenants, a curry lunch prepared and sold by staff, a Christmas market and cake sales in the office.

Rhona McLeod, chief executive at Trust, said: “Trust has a proud tradition of raising funds for a number of charities and I am delighted that our staff and tenants have been so successful in raising this contribution for such a worthwhile cause.”

Robina Qureshi from PAIH added: “I’d like to thank Trust Housing staff and tenants for all their efforts in raising funds in support of the current refugee crisis. Their contribution is very much appreciated and it will help towards our work in helping those who are in real need.”
