Work on over 300 new homes in Monifieth to begin soon

Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has confirmed that work on its substantial development of new homes on land off the A92 in Monifieth will get underway in the next few weeks.

Victoria Grange will deliver 330 new homes including 25% affordable homes, and as part of the Section 75 Agreement with Angus Council, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland will make a significant contribution of almost £3.9 million towards local education and community facilities in the area which reinforces some of the positive benefits that a developments like this can have on its local community.

Situated off Victoria Street this development will deliver a wide mix of two, three, four and five bedroom family homes to make sure that it will appeal to a wide range of buyers, and it will represent a significant investment in the local area by Taylor Wimpey.

As well as an impressive choice of ten styles of new homes from Taylor Wimpey’s Scottish house type range, this development will also introduce a range of two and three bedroom detached bungalows – making sure Victoria Grange will appeal to a wide range of buyers. To complement the impressive range of new homes, the overall plans for Victoria Grange include the creation of a new linear parkland space that will provide improved pedestrian and cycle links to the Angus Gateway Centre and the provision of a large play area.

There are also established green open spaces within the development that will be retained.
