49 new homes to be built on former B&Q site at Hogganfield Loch
Glasgow City Council has approved plans to build 49 new homes on the site of a former B&Q store near Hogganfield Loch.
The development at Cumbernauld Road will consist of 18 cottage flats, 18 detached houses, 10 semi-detached houses and three terraced houses. Space will also be allotted to allocated 52 parking spaces.
A planning report outlined the proximity of the development to the Hogganfield Loch.
It said: “This popular public park attracts local residents as well as visitors from all over the city and beyond, for recreational pursuits such as bird watching, walking, running and angling.”
