Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee will hear on March 11 of plans for replacements in 58 houses at Glenclova Terrace, Glenmarkie Terrace, Glenmoy Avenue, Glenogil Terrace and Glenprosen Terrace.

Councillor Anne Rendall, depute committee convener, said: “This is part of an ongoing programme which shows that we are doing all we can to make sure that tenants have energy efficient homes they can afford to heat.

“We are working hard to act against fuel poverty across the city.”

Meanwhile, the committee will also consider spending of just over £250,000 on environmental improvements in the Hilltown area of the city.

The proposals will see new surfacing and playpark equipment, along with benches and trees, in the area between Tulloch Court and Bonnethill Court.

Councillor Rendall added: “These plans will improve this area and make it a much more attractive place for families to play and for residents to spend time outside.

“We are committed to making communities in our city better places to live and I am pleased to see this investment coming forward.”
