Accredited, regulated first aid training for your workplace
SHARE has announced a new training partnership with Port of Leith Housing Association that sees a host of fully accredited, OFQUAL regulated first aid training added to its calendars.
Along with Emergency First Aid at Work and Mental Health First Aid, SHARE will also be providing a 3-day, examined First Aid at Work course for all new First Aiders, and those who need to renew their certificates.
The courses must take place in person due to the nature of the training, but all COVID protocols will be followed rigorously to ensure a safe learning experience for all participants.
Topics covered include assessing an injury, recovery position, heart attacks, anaphylaxis, burns and scolds and much more. Delegates will build up a sound knowledge of what to do in a wide range of medical emergencies, developing confidence, and working on the necessary logistical and communication skills needed to be a First Aider.
First Aid at Work takes place on 1st, 8th and 15th February at the Bob Allan Conference, Saracen House, 139 Saracen Street.
Numbers are limited on this course, so if you are interested in becoming a First Aider or need to update your skills, book today by clicking here.
