Affordable flats earmarked for former Perth hospital site

Initial plans have been drawn up for five blocks of affordable flats on the site of a former Perth hospital.
First Endeavour LLP has submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) to build the four/five-storey blocks of flats on land which formed part of the former Hillside Hospital on Dundee Road.
The NHS facility was closed in 1997 and has since been demolished.
In October 2022, Perth and Kinross Council approved plans - submitted by Westerwood - for a care home to be built on the northern part of the site.
The latest plans - submitted by applicant First Endeavour LLP and designed by Yeoman McAllister Architects are for the southern part of the site.
A pre-application report of the latest proposal went before the council’s planning and placemaking committee on Wednesday, May 17.
A public consultation event is due to take place at Kinnoull Parish Church on June 20 from 4-7pm.
