Angus Council unveils Local Housing Strategy 2023-28
Angus Council has now published its Local Housing Strategy 2023-28.
The document sets out the challenges and issues faced by local communities concerning housing and related services, as well as the actions that the council will take to try to address them.
The LHS was due to be published at the end of last year but, after Storm Babet hit, the local authority felt it was right to put it on pause during the response to the immediate impact of that dreadful weather event.
A spokesperson for Angus Council said: “As well as providing our approach for the delivery of housing and related services over the period 2023-28, the LHS sets out the evidence base to help address the local housing challenges and contains the plans, priorities and commitments that will help us all work together to overcome those challenges.
“Our LHS is ambitious, but it is also realistic. Ultimately and most importantly, it aims to make a difference to people’s lives.”
