Ardenglen community fun day a big success
The fun day took place in Castlemilk and was organised by the Association’s hard-working Community Committee.
The event was firmly focused on the family with a magician, a dance troupe, stalls and even a fire pit offering free toasted marshmallows for those with a sweet tooth. Face painting proved particularly popular.
The day was held in the Maureen Cope Community Hall and was well attended by families.
Audrey Simpson, chief executive of Ardenglen, said: “The Autumn Fun day is always a popular occasion which rounds off the October school holiday.
“The effort that went into organising it was fantastic and our thanks are due to the Association’s dedicated and hard-working Community Committee.
“Their commitment to the local community is fantastic and we thank everyone of them for what they do.”
