Ardenglen Housing Association hosts Halloween murder myster dinner
Ardenglen Housing Association served up lunch with a difference this week with murder and mystery on the menu.
Ideally timed for Halloween, the occasion was a first for Ardenglen and attracted a full house at Castlemilk’s Maureen Cope Hall.
Professional actors from The Walking Theatre Company delivered a polished performance with those attending having to work out who the murderer was.
Set in a haunted hotel, the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre performance was funny and captivating and involved the audience in the drama as the mystery unfolded.
As usual it was hosted by Ardenglen’s hard-working community committee who decorated the hall in a suitable Hallowe’en spooky theme.
Fiona McGovern, Ardenglen regeneration officer, said: “This occasion brought theatre to Castlemilk providing a funny and engaging drama which was the perfect accompaniment for lunch.
“We hope those who came along enjoyed it and once again Ardenglen’s Community Committee deserves huge thanks for organising the event.”
Ardenglen recognised support from partner organisations which helped put on the show. It was funded by Pockets and Prospects, part of the Senscot network of social enterprises, and also supported by Weekday Wow Factor, which promotes health and wellbeing.
