Ardenglen in running for Housing Association of the Year award
Ardenglen Housing Association has been named as a finalist in a top category for the Scottish Home Awards.
Castlemilk-based Ardenglen is one of the housing providers named as the final three in the Housing Association of the Year category.
The news comes as Ardenglen celebrates its 30th anniversary and the launch of its latest homes which tenants have now started moving in to.
The 22 new homes in the Cathkin 7 development in Ardencraig Road were built by McTaggart Construction which has also been listed as a finalist in other categories.
This includes Affordable Housing Development of the Year (small, social rent) for its development of Ardenglen’s new homes.
Chief executive Audrey Simpson said the Association was delighted to have become a finalist and awaited the outcome of the judging with anticipation.
Audrey added: “We also wish McTaggart Construction well in its categories and for doing an outstanding job in the construction of our Cathkin 7 development.”
