Women Inspired raises vital funds to support the charity’s womens projects and programmes across Scotland that feature free football sessions and personal development opportunities for players. The event launched in 2019 allows sports icons, female business leaders and people of influence the opportunity to unite in a day of celebration. The aim is to inspire guests from across Scotland’s business and sports landscape. 

Dame Kelly Holmes is one of the UK’s most celebrated athletes and is respected across the world as a role model and an inspiration. After a legendary sporting career, Dame Kelly is now a Global Inspirational Speaker, an award-winning author, an entrepreneur as well as a fitness, wellness, and mental health champion. She is passionate about raising awareness of mental health, using her own experience to learn more and to help others. 

Street Soccer’s Women Inspired Gala Lunch will be held at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh City centre on Friday March 3rd. The lunch event features a sparkling drinks reception, three course meal with wines, a panel discussion on some current hot topics and an in conversation interview with Dame Kelly as well as the opportunity to share and inspirational stories of our players at Street Soccer. The afternoon will topped off with entertainment from Edinburgh’s very own Brooke Combe.
