Ayrshire Housing has supported Newton Primary School’s annual Scottish poetry competition for a third year.

Housing officer Michelle Reid presented the awards and book tokens at the school’s end of session prize giving.

Rhonda Leith, Ayrshire Housing’s chair, said: “We work with lots of schools. We have though a special relationship with Newton Primary the closest school to our office and beside our much praised Cross Gait development.”

The prize giving follows on from a Prevention 1st Community Fun Day at the school. Ayrshire Housing’s stall proved to one of the most popular with the pupils and their parents.
