Ayrshire Housing unveils new director
Ayrshire Housing has appointed Lesley Anne Junner as its new director.
Following the announcement early in the year that the current director of Ayrshire Housing, Jim Whiston, is planning his retirement, the board undertook a rigorous recruitment exercise, interviewing several impressive candidates.
Further to this the panel were unanimous in agreeing that Lesley Anne Junner had all the necessary skills and attributes for the position and was the perfect candidate to take forward the vision and values of Ayrshire Housing. Lesley Anne was delighted to accept the offer.
Lesley Anne has a substantial track record in senior management, innovation and customer service in the housing and voluntary sector and brings this along with her passion for the sector to the role.
Lesley Anne said: “I am excited to be appointed as Ayrshire Housing’s new Director. It’s a great opportunity to join a reputable RSL and build on the achievements of Jim and his team. I look forward to joining the team and working alongside them to ensure Ayrshire Housing remains a highly reputable and well governed organisation.”
Simon Leslie, chair of Ayrshire Housing’s Board, and the interview panel, added: “We are delighted to welcome Lesley Anne to the team in this key role. Lesley Anne’s experience, skills, and commitment to social housing, will place her in an excellent position to take forward our business plan and ensure that we continue to provide good quality, affordable housing.”
Lesley Anne will join Ayrshire Housing on 19th February 2024.
