A repeat of the successful event held in central Borders in 2018, the event will give information about the services, organisations and practical support that is available locally to people affected by dementia and their carers/families.

BHA is also hosting the Virtual Dementia Tour for two days next week (Thursday and Friday, September 12 and 13) to provide experiential learning about dementia to its staff, volunteers and some staff from external partners such as Alzheimer Scotland.

The move forms part of BHA’s drive for greater understanding of the impact of dementia on tenants, their carers/families and those who they engage through befriending.
