Bidder’s event for Edinburgh new build housing Framework Agreement
The City of Edinburgh Council’s award-winning house building programme is looking to establish a Framework Agreement of affordable housing contractors to deliver high quality homes across the city.
The council has an ambitious programme to construct 10,000 new affordable homes by 2027 and plans to invest more than £500 million on a range of housing led regeneration projects over the next five years.
Through this unprecedented investment plan for new housing the council is seeking to promote and encourage innovation and investment in the construction industry, with a focus on modern methods of construction, collaboration, training and employment opportunities and supply chain management.
With the appointment of this Framework Agreement the council is looking for house building partners who will share our vision and commitment to the creation of high quality, vibrant and sustainable places where people want to live.
To participate in this procurement opportunity a Bidder’s event is being held in Edinburgh to inform interested parties about the programme and the proposed Framework Agreement.
Join the council at Edinburgh Central Library on Thursday 14 June 2018 at 1000-1200 to find out more and how to take part in the procurement process.
Bidders can confirm their attendance at the event by signing up at Eventbrite.
