Debbie Collins, Bield’s chief operating officer, has been appointed interim CEO as part of the leadership shake-up.

Since being appointed as Bield’s first-ever chief operating officer in June last year, Debbie has played a significant role in leading the organisation and strengthening its continued commitment to operational excellence, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Bield said the restructure will “provide strong stability and support as we continue to deliver our strategy and commitments”.

In an update on its website, the organisation said: “The board is confident that this interim appointment will provide the organisation with continued stability and strategic focus whilst the Board works towards recruiting Bield’s next CEO.

“We look forward to sharing details of this exciting opportunity when the recruitment process commences in early 2025.”
