As part of its office move to Saracen House, SHARE now also manages the centre.

John Thorburn, chair of ng homes, welcomed guests on the day and said: “As I’m sure you will agree, it is a wonderful facility and it is important that it is fully used to ensure that as many people, organisations and businesses can benefit from what it offers. This includes local community groups, housing associations and co-operatives, organisations from across the private, public and voluntary sectors.

“ng homes has been a member of SHARE for many years now and we know that they have the necessary skills and expertise to make a real success of managing the centre.”

Martha Hutcheson, chair at SHARE, added: “There is no doubt that the move has been extremely beneficial to SHARE and I hope to ng homes as well. Not only do we have great new offices for SHARE staff for their day-to-day work and our training courses, we also have a partnership with ng homes where SHARE promotes and manages the Bob Allan Conference Centre. And that is what we are celebrating today.”

The centre offers a flexible meeting environment, conducive to training, meetings, conference and exhibitions and is only 12 minutes by car from the city centre. It provides the perfect setting for an event for 10, or a conference for up to 100 people.

SHARE’s experienced and friendly conference team will be available to assist with arrangements, from advising on the most suitable layout, to organising catering and audio visual requirements.
