Bridgewater’s 21st birthday celebrations kick off
There were lots of smiling faces in Erskine on Saturday as Bridgewater Housing Association’s birthday celebrations got underway with a Street Party in conjunction with Impact Arts.
The Association is holding a number of events during the year to commemorate its 21st, with celebrations reaching all sections of the community.
Chair, Hugh Cameron, said: “We’re delighted that so many people have turned out to enjoy a fun afternoon with our staff and Board members. The street party is our main celebration and is a ‘thank you’ to our customers and the wider community for supporting the Association and help make it the success that it is today.”
Alongside the music, face painting and balloon making, residents took part in arts & crafts to make a number 21 birthday key, and posted birthday wishes on a graffiti board and at the selfie booth.
Renfrewshire Council provided its Street Stuff Bus and Erskine Youth, (formerly Erskine Boys Club) provided the space and facilities for the event.
