Cairn Cup draws the crowds in Inverness
Around 300 children from across Inverness took part in the second annual Cairn Housing Association Cup.
A total of 27 teams from across the city competed in two competitions and players were entertained between matches with a bouncy castle, facepainting and barbeque.
In the Primary 2-3 age group, Milton took home the trophy with Duncan Forbes picking up medals as runners up. In the P4-5 group Cradlehall were the winners and Kirkhill runners up.
Linda Stuart, Cairn’s community development officer, said: “Our Community Fund has supported ten projects this year, ranging from allotments and sensory gardens to funding a group that supports tenants with dementia. Promoting healthy active lifestyles is a priority for our Community Development Strategy and we were delighted to return to Cradlehall Primary School for the 2015 Cairn Cup.”
