Cairn’s head office is moving
Cairn Housing Association is moving its Edinburgh headquarters to Hopetoun Street as it continues its programme of modernisation and overhead cost reductions.
Changing beyond recognition in recent years, Cairn has embraced modern ways of working with flexible working, family friendly policies and a successful new home working scheme.
Jason MacGilp, chief executive of Cairn, said these innovative approaches, alongside a shift towards online services and mobile working, has meant that a new office, fully kitted out for the digital age, will equip Cairn to meet the challenges ahead and provide better value for money for our customers.
Mr MacGilp added: “Cairn is always on the move and it’s no coincidence that our exciting new office move comes at the same time that Cairn was recognised this year as one of the top 50 not-for-profit companies to work for in the UK. We’re equipping our teams across all our sites with the technology and resources they need to provide great services to tenants and we can’t wait to get started at Bellevue House.
“The move to a new head office with a smaller footprint and lower rents will also realise cashable savings of over £1m over ten years, which will be reinvested in our homes and services to tenants.”
From 21 May, Cairn Housing Association’s headquarters will be based at Bellevue House, 22 Hopetoun Street, Edinburgh EH7 4GH.
