With a theme of ‘We are the ‘I’ in Caledonia’, the event featured a variety of workshops covering communication, mental health, and equality and diversity.

The annual conference, which in previous years had been held virtually or as a hybrid event due to COVID-19, took place at Stirling Court hotel and had 120 people in attendance. The focus of this year’s annual conference was to recognise how each employee contributes to achieving Caledonia’s purpose and delivering positive results for the organisation and CHA’s tenants.

The external speakers included Mike Healy from FACE OFF, who covered the importance of collaboration in the context of employee wellbeing and performance improvement, Dave Scholes from Six Connections, who spoke about the importance of prioritising mental health and guest speakers from Stonewall who discussed how to be inclusive in the workplace.

The keynote speaker was Lauren Duffy, a presenter, producer, and ambassador for the British Dyslexia Association who shared her experience on resilience and how this has helped shape her personal and professional journey.
