The Care & Repair Team at Caledonia provide assistance and support to allow older, disabled or vulnerable people to live independently in their own home or privately rented homes; providing disabled adaptations, a small repairs and an advice service across Perth & Kinross.
Housing and Communities Committee Convener, Councillor Peter Barrett, said: “This scheme is a great example of how we can help the people of Perth & Kinross to stay in their own homes for longer by providing the adaptations they need to continue to lead independent lives.”
Julie Cosgrove, chief executive at Caledonia Housing Association, said: “Caledonia are pleased to be able to continue offer this important service and delighted to be able to expand the service we offer to the residents of the whole of Perth & Kinross region with the support of Perth & Kinross Council”
