Chris joined the management committee in 2018 and served as treasurer since September 2023. He had previously held the role of secretary and had also served on the executive committee of Share.

Chris was a tenant of Calvay HA and was passionate about the area. He was particularly interested in environmental issues and matters relating to social justice. Chris was an advocate for community projects such as Calvay’s community garden group/allotments and was all about achieving the best outcomes for the community, for example by ensuring rents remained affordable.

He will be missed for his calm manner, thoughtful contributions, and unwavering commitment to the best outcome for tenants. Chris is survived by his wife, Janette and children Rebecca and Callum.
