Campion Homes records another year of continued growth and profitability
Fife-based Campion Homes has built on its year of record growth by reporting another strong year of trading with turnover increasing by 7.4% to £32.6 million and gross margins up by 1%.
In total 56 private house sales were legally completed during the year at developments at Hawthornbank, Laurelbank and Law View. At the end of May 2018, the company also launched a new development at Bryony Meadow, Dairsie with particularly strong interest being shown in this site.
During the year the company handed over 202 homes to housing association and local authority clients and had a further 230 under construction at the year-end.
In the coming year Campion will continue to focus on progressing its established private developments, work to secure land for future developments and combine this with its strong pipeline of work within the social housing sector.
The company has also recently commenced a project to introduce an integrated ERP system across the company. This is a significant long term investment which is intended to drive efficiencies across all areas of the business.
Reflecting on the year, executive chairman Pete Bell said: “The team have delivered another strong set of results which is very encouraging after our record year in 2017. Despite continued pressures and economic and political uncertainty our success continues to be built on the robust relationships we have built over the last 30 years with trusted suppliers and customers and the dedication and hard work of all of our colleagues.”
