Castlehill committee member departs after 28 years of service
Castlehill Housing Association’s longest serving committee member Dr Nick Williams is to leave the Association after 28 years of service.
A past convener of Castlehill, Nick has also served as chair of development, finance and audit at various times in his long tenure and is also well known to many in the sector, having been a board member of the SFHA.
Nick is and his wife Nicky are relocating to Northumberland.
David Lappin, Castlehill’s chief executive, said: “Castlehill has been indeed fortunate to have benefited from Nick’s knowledge and passion for delivering our aims over such a long time. His contribution to the success and growth of the Association cannot be over-estimated. We wish him all the best for his new life in the other North East.”
Nick Williams added: “I have been privileged to be involved with the housing association movement for more than 25 years - I have made many friends and am proud of the quality houses built and the sensitive and efficient management delivered. I hope I can make a similar contribution in Northumberland where Nicky and I will be settling in the near future.”
