Castlehill Housing Association adds ten new affordable homes to Insch village
Castlehill Housing Association has taken delivery of 10 new homes to complete a modern development of affordable rent, terraced and semi-detached houses at South Road in Insch.
Castlehill development manager Fraser Buchanan, said: “Castlehill HA are happy to be taking delivery of 4x4 bedroom and 6x3 bedroom homes at Station Road, Insch, Aberdeenshire. The project has been delivered by Drumrossie Homes, in association with RT Architectural Designs. The homes were built by Drumrossie Homes appointed main contractor, CMJ (Aberdeen) Ltd.”
Each property has its own parking spaces and good sized garden. Continuing with the Association’s effort to make sustainability and efficiency a priority in their new homes, these properties have been designed with energy efficiency in mind.
David Lappin, Castlehill’s chief executive, added: “Castlehill is delighted that these new family homes in Insch have now been completed. The properties are fitted with solar panels, air source heating and high levels of insulation. This not only contributes to meeting environmental standards but also aims to assist tenants with energy costs in a time where energy supplier prices are rising sharply, and household budgets are under intense pressure.”
Castlehill housing and property services director Isla Gray, commented: “We were delighted to welcome our tenants to their new homes last week. Meeting demand for family housing in Insch is important to continue to support thriving and sustainable rural communities.”
The properties are close to all the amenities in the village which has great links to the surrounding areas.
