CCG appointed to Pagabo framework

CCG (Scotland) has been appointed to a new national framework launched by public and private procurement provider Pagabo.

Pagabo, a member of the 55 Group, offers compliant, low cost routes to market and vital support for councils, housing associations and other public bodies for all their construction needs.

Now well established within the Scottish landscape, Pagabo’s latest Medium Works Framework will provide a streamlined approach to the delivery of projects up to £10 million, through either direct award or mini-competition.

The rigorous cost and quality assessment process ensures that clients can access leading edge contractors operating at the forefront of industry.

The appointment of CCG is seen as a real coup for Pagabo. The Glasgow-based firm’s affordable housebuilding programme is amongst the largest in the country with over 2800 homes currently on-site across the central belt and beyond, whilst they also offer proven expertise in the health, care, education, leisure and commercial sectors.

CCG managing director, David Wylie, said: “Our strong position within the public sector of the Scottish construction industry has been greatly aided over the last decade thanks to Framework operators such as Pagabo. Over 80% of our Group’s annual workload is now secured by these means; this is a testament to how well direct award procurement can work in realising development, speeding up the process and bringing the compelling benefits of Early Contractor Involvement. This early engagement allows us to drive down costs and enhance whilst delivering demonstrable value for money.

“I am in no doubt that the introduction of Pagabo to our public sector clients will be welcomed and we look forward to working with them over the next 4 years.”

Tom Retallick, framework manager at Pagabo, said: “We’re delighted to have CCG joining the latest iteration of our Medium Work Framework. They join 93 other suppliers on this fully compliant framework which provides the public sector with a streamlined procurement route for all their mid-sized construction projects.”
