Christmas comes early for award winning Hillcrest
The Dundee-based Hillcrest Group of Companies took home the Local Matters Dundee award at The Courier Business Awards last week.
Receiving the award for the work they do to drive forward the local economy Hillcrest saw off stiff competition from the other shortlisted organisations, Showcase the Street and Wave 102.
On receiving the award Hillcrest Group chief executive, Angela Linton, said: “We are delighted for the Hillcrest Group’s efforts in Dundee to be recognised by the judges.
“The judges were particularly impressed by how our organisation is structured and the way the 6 companies within the group work together to make a positive impact in the local community.

Providing housing, care, training, skills and employment opportunities, the Hillcrest Group of Companies consists of 6 trading companies; Hillcrest Housing Association, Gowrie Care, Craigowl Communities, Northern Housing Company, Hillcrest Enterprises and Hillcrest Maintenance Services.
The Courier Business Awards, in association with Henderson Loggie Chartered Accountants, was founded in 2013 to recognise successful businesses and individuals across Tayside and Angus.
Held at the Fairmont hotel in St Andrews, the black tie event featured 16 categories of awards celebrating a range of industries and businesses big and small.
