About this event

In June 2014, then CIH President Steve Stride launched a Presidential Commission to examine ways to improve the diversity of leaders in the housing sector, and make recommendations for real and effective change.

The Commission collected evidence from across the sector, identifying ten key areas for housing organisations to take action to ensure a truly diverse leadership and workforce in the sector by 2020.

This event will explore how the sector can and should respond to the findings of the Commission, drawing on the experience of those from inside and outside of the sector.

Sessions will look at:

- The importance of the diversity commission

- The business case for equality and diversity

- Governance and diversity

- Creating an inclusive workforce
