Clark Contracts appointed to £100m refurbishment and modernisation framework
The Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) has appointed Clark Contracts to its £100 million Refurbishment and Modernisation Framework.
The contractor has been appointed to two multi-trade lots of the framework, which will cover projects up to £2.5m in value.
The framework will support the delivery of a range of works, from kitchen and bathroom upgrades, electrical installations to painting and decorating, environmental and external works. It can also support multi-disciplinary projects including adaptations, roofing, and mould prevention.
Clark Contracts are already appointed to SPA’s Public Buildings and Infrastructure Framework and New Build Housing Construction Framework, as well as several other public sector frameworks including Scotland Excel’s New Build Residential Framework, NHS National Services Scotland’s Minor Works Framework, Crown Commercial Services Construction Works Framework, and agreements with Fusion21, Prosper, the University of Glasgow and The City of Edinburgh Council.
Lesley Anderson, regional director for SPA, said: “We’re constantly seeking ways to help further support the public sector in improving their homes and buildings while ensuring an environmental focus is at the heart of every step. This framework will empower councils, social landlords, the NHS, and various organisations to efficiently and cost-effectively maintain and upgrade buildings, ensuring they offer warm and comfortable living spaces.”
Gordon Cunningham, managing director, Clark Contracts, added: “Having delivered over £150m of refurbishment works in the last 3 years, we are delighted to be appointed to another framework for SPA, and look forward to delivering a range of refurbishment and modernisation works for their members.”
