Community Champions continue to make Cadder Housing Association better
Cadder Housing Association proudly hosted its second Community Champion event to recognise and celebrate the achievements of a number of its residents, all of whom have helped to make Cadder better in their different ways.
The awards were made in Cadder Community Centre, with a celebration tea being provided by Cadder Hills Café.
Categories included: Excellent Neighbour, Long Term Customer, Community Contribution and Gardening Excellence.
Winning nominees included Ellie Masterson and Caitlin Lamb for their tremendous work with the Cadder Youth Group as young volunteers.
Community stalwart Mary Henderson was recognised for her twenty years’ service to Cadder Community Council and awards were given to Peter Rose, Carole Black and Alison Kelly for being brilliant neighbours.
Customer services team leader, Julie Kelly, said: “The Community Champion event provides great pleasure not only to the winning nominees, but also to the Association. The event is our way of saying thank you for the selfless year-round contributions made by many of our residents, who make a positive difference to our community.”
