Cordale Housing Association chairperson Margaret McCallion and housing officer Geraldine McKenzie have presented tenant Mrs Clayton with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the entire team on her 100th birthday.

Mrs Clayton has been a resident Cordale’s supported housing accommodation at Waterside View for the past nine years, having lived in Dumbarton before that.

She has a son, a daughter and a daughter in law, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mrs Clayton celebrated her birthday with her family and friends and received a lovely 100th birthday cake. Mrs Clayton declared the secret to living this long is happiness.

Margaret McCallion said: “What a great achievement to get to 100, on behalf of the association we would like to wish Mrs Clayton our very best wishes on this milestone birthday.”
