Council invites Fife public to discuss housing development
Fife Council has invited the public to discuss proposals for a new housing development in the region.
Plans by Campion Homes involve building 23 council homes at Monksmoss, Ladybank.
The properties include four one-bed cottage flats, nine two-bed houses, six three-bed houses, two four-bed houses and two two-bed amenity bungalows.
If planning application is approved, the council intends to purchase the houses from Campion Homes to rent to council tenants.
The development would contribute towards the council’s affordable housing programme which aims to deliver 2,700 new homes by 2017.
The drop-in event is a chance for the public to view and comment on the proposals.
The exhibition will take place at Ladybank Library on 4 August between 4pm and 7pm.
